Styles let you control how Swifly formats your dictation for different apps, so a message to a friend doesn't read like an email to your boss.
What are Styles?
Styles change the way Swifly punctuates and capitalizes your dictated text. There are four styles: Formal, Casual, Very Casual, and Excited.
Set a style for each app type
Swifly groups apps into four contexts, and you can pick a style for each one independently:
- Personal messengers
- Work messengers
- Other apps
Any of the four styles can be applied to any context — for example, you can set Very Casual for email if that fits how you write. Each context starts with a sensible default (Email defaults to Formal, Work messengers and Other apps default to Casual, and Personal messengers default to Very Casual), but you're free to change it.
How to change your Styles
Open the Swifly dashboard and go to the Styles page. Select an app type, then choose the style you want to apply to it. Your change takes effect immediately for future dictations in that context.
