Swifly learns how  you  write - including names, industry terms, and unique spellings. 

Here’s how to teach Swifly new words or custom spellings so it types exactly what you mean.

📱 iOS (iPhone)

1. Tap the Dictionary tab at the bottom of the screen.
2. Press the ＋ button to add a new word.

Now Swifly will recognize this word when you say it

💻 Desktop (macOS and Windows)

1. Open the Swifly application.
2. Go to Dictionary → Add new.
3. Enter the word or phrase you’d like Swifly to recognize.

Words added to your dictionary on Desktop will sync with your iPhone app.

✅ Correcting Misspelled Words

If Swifly keeps misunderstanding something — like inserting "Eric" instead of "Erik" — you can select the “Correct misspelling” option. This helps Swifly recognize and replace that version automatically when you dictate.

 Share dictionary entries with your team

On Teams and Enterprise plans, dictionary entries can be shared with teammates, so everyone benefits from the same custom words and spellings without needing to add them individually.

With your personalized dictionary, Swifly becomes even more accurate and tuned to your voice.
