The Swifly iOS Settings screen lets you set your dictation language, choose translation languages, manage your microphone and privacy preferences, and control push notifications. Open it anytime from the side menu (gear icon).
General
- Set language: choose or switch the language(s) you dictate in.
If you're on the free plan, an Upgrade to Pro card appears at the top of Settings so you can unlock unlimited words and additional features.
Translate
- Translate to: select the language(s) Swifly should translate your dictation into.
Recording and Input
- Built-in mic: use your iPhone's microphone for all dictation.
- Turn off mic: set how long Swifly waits before automatically turning off the microphone.
Privacy and Security
- Privacy mode: when on, your dictation data isn't stored or used for training.
- Clear transcription history: permanently delete all entries in your transcription history from this device.
- Save transcription history: keep a record of your dictations.
Notifications
- Push Notifications: turn push notifications on or off.
Account actions such as signing out or deleting your account are managed separately, from the Account screen in the side menu.
